Question: David, What are your views on gold vs the
Dow? Martin Armstrong
says the Dow is a better hedge against inflation. If we get
some inflation [when will that be] will it matter if you are
in gold or the Dow as both will go up at the same rate. Or
is it just that gold is something outside the banking
system? Colin
Comment: First you are correct, "it is just that
gold is something outside the banking system."
That is the most important
point if a total or near total collapse were to take place.
The Dow/gold ratio varies, as you know. Watch this video

I agree with Mike--not
Martin--that the ratio will favor gold going forward.
However, if you think Martin is correct then you could hedge
that way.
