Question: David, I heard on a recent interview of yours that you will be giving us information from Avi Gilburt regarding the next low in the precious metals. I am thinking or signing up for the full blown Morgan Report to be able to receive that information and do want to Thank you for these free weekly updates.

My question is- why can Avi get the bottom in the metals and you don't seem to be able to do so? ~ Marina T.

Comment: First, you question involves a presupposition-- which implies Avi is correct, which remains to be determined. The write up with Avi is now complete and will entail part of the May issue. You may be disappointed in that his bottom call- like many is a bit washy washy which means there is no exact date or exact price. Now he may provide this for his paid people I am not sure, but based upon my correspondence with him and having studied almost all forms of technical analysis for years, my personal experience is that the Elliott Wave folks really do not have an edge over anyone else.

Yes, I have been much better at calling the tops in the market than the bottoms. The tops so far have been parabolic in nature and having 40 plus years in the silver market it helps to recognize when the market is getting overheated.

The bottoms can be quick V bottoms or very extended long boring bottoms and almost anything between these two extremes. This does not mean I am backing off my statement that the bottom of late last year with spot silver trading around the $14.15 level on what I call a "spike low" is it. Still think this is the low, and it could be tested but to me it is doubtful that silver will trade below that level in 2015. Time will tell whom is correct in this "bottom picking contest"
