Precious Metals Investment
Symposium in Australia

Hi ,

I have been speaking at investment conferences globally for two decades and my trip last year to the Precious Metals Investment Symposium in Australia was absolutely one of the best events of my life. Part of the excited was finally getting "down under" as it was my first visit.

Secondly, Kerry went out of her way to make sure I came early to enjoy the Melbourne Cup and as luck would have it my "pick" actually won the race! Additionally, I had the pleasure of attending a black tie affair sponsored by the LME. Certainly a night I will always remember.

The conference itself was smoothly run and very well planned. Guests and exhibitors has access to food, beverages, and amenities that were well above the standard. The topics covered were fairly classic in nature but also far reaching, which means the crypto currency vs. gold topic was a main discussion with both sides having fair and equal time. I understand that this year they are devoting a full day to Digital Markets and Gold to help people understand the new technology space and hear about some new opportunities

Personally, the awards dinner will always stick in my mind as I have not laughed or enjoyed myself so much in a very long time. The keynote speaker hit it out of the park as we say in America.

Finally, as if she had not spent so much time making certain that stay in Australia was memorable, she gave us all a champagne with gold flakes floating in the bubbly. My suggestion for both attendees and presenters is this -- if you have to choose one show vs. another and Australia is a point of focus it would be foolish not to be at the next PMIS. Global Gold Heavyweights Lineup for Perth Debut

What: Precious Metals Investment Symposium
When: Wednesday, 3rd – 4th October 2018
Where: Pan Pacific Hotel, 207 Adelaide Terrace, Perth WA 6000

The world’s biggest gold bug Eric Sprott will headline the Precious Metals Investment Symposium, as the event makes its highly-anticipated debut in Perth, Western Australia.

Held on October 3rd and 4th at the Pan Pacific Hotel, the Symposium is the country’s largest event dedicated to producing, investing and trading precious metals.

Discussion is set to be dominated by what’s next for the yellow metal, with the global market well entrenched into its tenth year of bullish conditions – raising the question whether investors should be looking at gold, the traditional investment safe haven.

Eric Sprott, founder of Sprott Inc. and chairman of Kirkland Lake Gold brings investment star power to the proceedings and will be flanked by other top talent, such as Don Mackay-Coghill, chairman of the Gold Corporation, and Jeff Berwick, founder of contrarian investment blog The Dollar Vigilante.

Joshua Rotbart, founder and managing partner of J Rotbart and Co Hong Kong is set to give a controversial speech on why the bullion industry needs to embrace the Crypto space, not dismiss it, and Barry Dawes, executive Chairman of Martin Place Securities is set to ask whether Pilbara conglomerates are “real or fake news”.

A host of top executives from across the precious metals industry will also be giving company updates, such as Mark Clark, managing director of the highly-fancied Regis Resources (ASX:RRL), Dr Quinton Hennigh, chairman and president of Canada-based conglomerate play Novo Resources (TSX:NVO) and Bryan Dixon, managing director of recent gold producer Blackham Resources (ASX:BLK).

Precious Metals Investment Symposium organiser Kerry Stevenson said the event continues to grow on the back of renewed interest in gold as smart investors seek security at the end of a long boom.

“This is the biggest Symposium event to date and its fantastic to finally bring attention to Western Australia, which is home to both the goldfields region and new, emerging gold provinces, such as the Pilbara.

“The theme on everybody’s lips is ‘what’s next?’ with rising uncertainty in the global economy and questions being raised about how hot the market can get before it overheats.

“Whether talking about the future of gold or wanting to meet the names behind some of the big mining companies, the Precious Metals Investment Symposium is the place to be.

“One of the event’s biggest strengths is the diverse cross-section of top talent that is passionate about the industry and able to give attendees first-class, thoughtful insights,” she said.

The Precious Metals Symposium will be immediately followed by the Digital Markets and Gold day on Friday the 5th October, in partnership with Metalicoin, the world’s first crypto metal exchange.

As any investor will know, holding a technological advantage can deliver massive benefits and the Digital Markets and Gold day offers a fresh perspective on the emerging ways to invest in and trade metals.

Attracting some of the brightest minds, the day will give insights into how to take advantage of blockchain technology, while avoiding volatility, complexity and some of the most stunning scams that have scared off many investors.

Tickets are limited, with strong interest coming from the West Australian contingent.
